Who We Are
The Durham Eviction Diversion Program provides free legal advice, service, and representation to low-resource families and residents confronting eviction and housing insecurity. Since our foundation in 2017, we have helped thousands of our Durham neighbors have a safe and secure place to call home. Our small team of attorneys and paralegals are committed to housing security for all.
What We Do
The Durham Eviction Diversion Program currently seeks interns to help build websites, finalize oral history projects (transcribe interviews), conduct community outreach and education, develop K-12 curricula on housing security, and perform research-related tasks.
Interns should commit 15-20/hours week to this work, ideally spread across two or three days. Internsh The Durham Eviction Diversion Program has a fast-paced work environment. Interns will work independently and collaboratively on projects. Those with a commitment to housing security and with backgrounds in computer science, the humanities, and public policy are especially encouraged to apply.
Applicants should email their cover letter and resume to Alexis Clark (alexisc@legalaidnc.org).
