The Durham Eviction Diversion Program currently seeks interns to help build websites, finalize oral history projects (transcribe interviews), conduct community outreach and education, develop K-12 curricula on housing security, and perform research-related tasks.
Interns should commit 15-20/hours week to this work, ideally spread across two or three days. All internships will be remote. Interns should have access to internet, computer, and telephone.
The Durham Eviction Diversion Program has a fast-paced work environment. Interns will work independently and collaboratively on projects with supervision by the Community Resource Coordinator (Alexis Clark). Those with a commitment to housing security and with backgrounds in computer science, the humanities, and public policy are especially encouraged to apply.
