Volunteer: Administrative Support

The Bull City Woodshop is looking for a volunteer to help up to 10 hours a week to assist with administrative duties. W are requesting a 6 month commitment minimum.

Responsibilities may include, but may not be limited to

Weekly newsletters to volunteer staff

Monthly newsletters to entire constituent database

Curriculum management

Support BCW committees: adult programs, maintenance, community outreach

Assist in data management

Maintain the BCW website

Curate social media posts

Assist with logistics of volunteer training

Assist as needed with event planning and program management

Assist in developing processes that will scale the BCW impact and efforts

Do you have an interest in mentoring teens and preteens? 

We are always on the lookout for dedicated, caring, and experienced volunteers to invest in the students of The Bull City Woodshop. 

What does a volunteer do?

*Educate students in woodworking skills and safety. 

*Keep the students safe by training them how to properly use woodworking tools.
*Mentor the students in patience, persistence, and integrity in their work.
*Pass a background check
*Commit to a weekly workshop time that fits your schedule
*Attend volunteer trainings to hone your skills both in woodworking and mentorship. 
*Experience intrinsic fulfillment knowing you are investing in the lives of the next generation of skilled workers.
