Figuring out how to help can be overwhelming, but it doesn't have to be. Activate Good invites people of all ages in our community to join us on a journey of learning,
action, and community-building to become agents of positive change in the Triangle.
Our projects and programs provide individuals and groups, youth and families, and companies meaningful opportunities to take action to meet important local needs -- from food insecurity, to homelessness, to education and more. What We Do
Volunteer Opportunity Database: Search and sign up for a volunteer opportunity through one of our hundreds of community partners (nonprofits, schools, or other organizations in the Triangle who need community support!)! Our volunteer database offers a menu of opportunities to meet the needs of our community. Options include one-time service, ongoing support, skills-based service, board service, solo journeys, and group activities! Check them all out at https://volunteer.activategood.org/.
Youth Volunteer Corps of the Greater Triangle: Action is power! Youth 11-18 learn together about social issues in the Triangle and how to make meaningful change. Serve with other youth, build community, and deepen your commitment to the issues you care about.
Activate Kids: Families can now serve as a unit through the Activate Kids program! Activate Kids conducts monthly programming for families with youths ages 5 to 10. This program follows the Activate Good “Learn and Serve” Model with the help of a subject matter expert to teach families around specific cause areas, which then follow a complimentary service project from the lesson.

Corporate Engagement: Activate Good can plan your employee volunteer initiatives so you can focus on your business! We’ve worked with over 150 Triangle area businesses to plan and manage team-building volunteer projects (off site or on site), develop a customized annual calendar of service projects, offer a technology platform to manage and track volunteer sign ups, and more!
