Who We Are
Our mission is to enable and empower the Autistic and Neurodivergent community through the principles of Disability Justice; to shift the narrative of disability through relationships, education, and advocacy; and to support self-determination and access to employment, transportation, housing, mental health services, and food security.
We believe in listening to, centering, and amplifying Autistic and other neurodivergent voices. The lived experiences of individuals on the spectrum are valid, legitimate, and positions of expertise.
We believe all beings are interdependent and that a person's value is inherent in their existence.
We embrace neurodivergence and understand that all identities are varied, complex, and intersectional.
We are committed to actively addressing racial and socioeconomic disparities in access to opportunities and outcomes.
What We Do
One of the ways we fulfill our mission is through our store, Part & Parcel, which is a package-free bulk goods store that seeks to reduce packaging waste, contribute to equitable food systems, and serve as a model of neurodiversity through inclusive employment and community engagement.
We also provide programming, such as the Torchlight Residency, and engage in Advocacy work through our Autistic Perspective Series, speaking engagements, and community level change-making efforts with local businesses, organizations, and schools.
