Who We Are
Inspiring Minds (IM) is an after-school and summer enrichment program for under-served Durham high school students. We inspire, engage and empower our students to reach their full potential through education and exposure to life changing experiences. IM was founded in 2006 and currently has chapters in Warren, OH, Youngstown, OH, Philadelphia, PA, Brooklyn, NY and Durham, NC.
What We Do
We provide resources and academic support for our students by assisting with homework, tutoring, ACT/SAT prep, mentoring, college tours and industry tours. We engage students using our 5 pillars of IMpact: Education, Exposure to New Experiences, College and Career Readiness, Health and Wellness and Personal Development. We also partner with Duke ECE department and LIFT Labs.
