Who We Are
In 2003, Bobby founded Piedmont Wildlife Center with a mission to conserve native species and nurture wilderness connections. Realizing that education is the root to helping these wild animals survive, our organization changed its focus to education and conservation. We started running youth camps and outreach programs, and got involved with an Eastern Box Turtle study. Our vision is a world where all people are united by a love and respect for nature, and are committed to the health of the planet and one another for generations to come. Our mission is to encourage conservation and inspire people to build lifelong connections with nature through immersive outdoor education, citizen science, and wildlife stewardship. Our core values include gratitude, respect, curiosity, inclusivity and awareness.
What We Do
