Murray-Massenburg Elementary PTA

What We Do

The Murray-Massenburg PTA strives to build community and cultivate belonging among families, teachers, students and community members for the purpose of serving the needs of families, supporting teachers, and advocating for children through resources and programs. Our Goals for the 2025-2026 School Year Solidify the foundation of the PTA: Ensure leadership team better reflects school community in terms of race, ethnicity and primary language spoken, and diversify our funding base to include grants. Enhance community meeting participation: Increase average attendance to 20 people by May 2026 and incorporate parent connection opportunities at each meeting. Build community engagement: Host at least three community-building events during the school year to connect parents across backgrounds, and strengthen school-family relationships by inviting at least one educator to participate in every PTA event or meeting.
