Who We Are
New Africa Village, a 501(c)(3) public charity organization, is a grassroots nonprofit organization which serves as a catalyst for organizing and partnering with nonprofits on collective efforts that provide services to help eradicate food insecurity, educational inequality, health disparities, and inequity and injustice that disproportionately impact the underserved and socioeconomically affected in the community.
New Africa Village envisions a community that combines its resources to assure that everyone has equitable means to give them a future by investing in and building a model community, one life at a time.
What We Do
New Africa Village offers tutoring services at no cost during the school year to K-12 students to help under-resourced youth reach their learning potential and accomplish key educational milestones. College students will tutor children while meeting their community service requirements for college graduation. New Africa Village also sponsors a summer camp for youth grades K-12 with focus in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math (STEAM)/Environmental hands-on lessons that include leadership development and character building to broaden the students’ knowledge for educational and career opportunities. New Africa Village serves at no cost nutritious meals during the summer to children ages 1-18 who would go hungry. These programs are essential for reducing hunger and helping build upon students’ academic capabilities and character, both of which improve the quality of life for our youth.
