The School Days program, now in its 24th year, is designed to inspire 300 local students to aim for college by giving them a glimpse of college life today. In groups of 10, accompanied by school counselors, two Duke staff, and two Duke students, the 8th graders will explore various parts of Duke’s campus, including cool spots like the VR lab, Duke racecar, surgical training lab, and research greenhouse.
We’re looking for Duke student volunteers to join us from 9:30 – 11:30 a.m. on Friday, November 1. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of Durham’s first-gen students and discover new parts of Duke yourself!
