We are excited to invite you to make an even greater impact by joining us as Mentors and Homework Guides at Purpose Learning Lab! If you’re passionate about helping children succeed academically and socially, we need your support during our afterschool program.
We Need You Monday-Friday, 2:00-6:00 PM (Flexible Hours):
- Flexible Hours: Whether you can volunteer for one day or the entire week, we have a spot for you! You can choose the hours that best fit your schedule.
- Roles Needed:
- Mentors: Offer guidance, encouragement, and build relationships with students.
- Homework Guides: Help students with homework and academic tasks, offering personalized support in subjects like math, reading, and science.
Why This Matters: Your involvement helps ensure that our students receive the academic support and mentorship they need to thrive. You will be directly impacting their ability to succeed in school and develop positive habits that can last a lifetime.
What You’ll Do:
- Assist students with homework and educational activities.
- Offer mentorship by encouraging positive behavior and building self-confidence.
- Help students stay organized and focused during study sessions.
- Provide guidance on problem-solving and critical thinking.
Available Shifts:
We have flexible shifts Monday through Friday between 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM. Whether you can commit to one day or multiple, your time will make a difference!
