GLAMOR SHOTS! Having a good photographer is vital for our website and social media reach. Many potential adopters look at our website prior to coming out to the Center and a picture is often the first chance at marketing our animals for adoption. A great photograph can capture the animal’s personality – making them more desirable. A bad photograph can make the animals look sick, angry, or just plain not-so-charming. The Paparazzi Team takes pictures of our animals (ideally outside for dogs and livestock – if possible – and inside for cats and critters) so people are enticed to come out and adopt. In addition, people who have lost their pet often check online for their missing animal and a quality picture could be all the difference!
If you are interested in joining our Volunteer Program, here are the requirements:
You must meet the necessary Essential Capabilities to safely volunteer.
You must be over the age of 18. Eighteen is the minimum age to volunteer with us, and there are no exceptions to this rule.
You must commit to at least six hours per month, for at least six months. We cannot accommodate single-day or short-term volunteerism.
