Student U is a Durham-based nonprofit running an 11-year educational pipeline supporting first-generation, public school students from 6th grade through college graduation. This summer, Student U celebrates 20 years of investing in students, families, and the Durham community.
Our birthday party at the W.G. Pearson Center is going to be a full-on celebration — and we want our staff to be able to put down their clipboards, grab a plate, and enjoy this milestone right alongside the alumni and community members who made it all possible.
That's where you come in.
We're looking for volunteers to help us pull off an incredible event on August 1, 9:30 am–3:00 pm at the W.G. Pearson Center. Whether you can spare an hour or the whole day, there's a spot for you.
