Program Implementation
The organization works within marginalized communities in North Carolina. YES programs and activities are offered in a HYBRID capacity, occurring in several settings throughout the year.
YES will provide a weekly series in classrooms engaging students in lessons from the YES Essentials program, focusing on 5 Essential Pillars: EARN, SAVE, SPEND, INVEST, DONATE.

Assist and Develop activities and lessons for YESKidSMART program
Communicate with all YES partners to set schedules
Develop lesson objective and resources
Secure in-kind donations from businesses
Create social marketing/media strategies
Dovetail with the creation of a recruitment package for volunteers and possible new sites
Assist in coordination of project-based finale in pitch competition fashion
Time Commitment & Compensation
The work performed by the Intern shall be performed during the 2025-26 school year. Background check and completion of code of conduct review are needed 2 weeks prior to engagement with participants. Program implementation is conducted in person and virtually. A community service letter indicating hours completed will be provided at the end of the term, if needed.
