Share Your Christmas Distribution Center Volunteers - December 2-15

The Triangle Nonprofit & Volunteer Leadership Center needs volunteers to assist with our Share Your Christmas Distribution Center at Yates Baptist Church, 2819 Chapel Hill Road, 27707.

For over 45 years, the Center has helped people in need during the Christmas Holiday. Each year, we serve over 2,000 low income children, families and elderly adults.  Volunteer duties will include checking in packages when sponsors drop gifts off and checking out packages as social workers pick these up for the families. The dates are December 2-4, 6-15, 2021.

Due to COVID-related health concerns large team registrations will not allowed this year, as we are limiting the number of people inside the building. Volunteers must register individually. Only registered volunteers and staff will be allowed inside of the building. (Groups may serve together but must register individually so we can monitor and adhere to all public health guidelines.)

The space is large enough for volunteers and staff (12 people at a time only to maintain more than 6ft social distancing. Masks will be required to be worn at all times. Mask, hand sanitizer and gloves will be available.
