Students to Scholars is seeking dedicated Academic Coaches to work one-on-one with 3rd through 5th grade students who need extra support in reading and/or math.
What Academic Coaches Do

Meet with a student once per week

Work in-person or virtually

Focus on reading, math, or both

Sessions are one-on-one and last about one hour
In-person sessions typically take place at one of the Durham Boys and Girls Clubs between 3:30 and 5:30 PM on weekdays. We’ll match you with a student and provide guidance to help you succeed.
This is a great opportunity for anyone who wants to empower young learners and help them gain the confidence and skills they need to thrive in school.
