Coach Ballplayers with Special Needs

The Miracle League of the Triangle provides children and adults with special needs the opportunity to play baseball. Previous baseball experience is not required but a caring, enthusiastic spirit is.

2023 Spring Season:

APA League                                                     March 29^th – May 17^th

Cary, Raleigh, & Durham League                March 24^th – May 20^th

Tues. Adult League:                                       March 21^st – May 16^th  

Thurs. Adult League:                                   March 23^rdt – May 16^th 

OVERVIEW:

• Attend minimum of 6 of your team’s games during the season
• 15 Years or Older
• Ensure the safety of all players
• Teach players how to play baseball to best of their abilities
• Encourage sportsmanship, good morale & enthusiasm to all participants, promoting good behavior.
• Encourage buddy interaction with the players. 
• Keep games moving in a timely manner
• All coaches arrive 30 minutes before game time.
• Find your own Sub and notify head coach. 
• Attend a Coaches Meeting, Week of March 6^th
• Pass a background test (18 yrs. or older)
