The Durham Medical Orchestra (DMO) is presenting a free children's concert on September 28th at 3:00 PM! Families will enjoy a classical concert with fun and playful tunes that will be instantly recognized by kids and adults alike. Children can also explore the instrument "petting zoo" where they can try an instrument they may have never seen before!
DMO is seeking volunteers to assist with ushering, set-up, and to support the instrument "petting zoo."
Types of volunteer positions:
- Logistical Help: Help the orchestra unload instruments and set up the stage. Estimated time commitment from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM
- Ushering/Audience Support: Greet guests, give out programs, help station the instrument petting zoo, and give general directions prior to and during the concert. Estimated time commitment: 2:00 PM - 4:30 PM
