HOPE holds monthly social events for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and non-disabled friends and families to create community prior to opening housing that is inclusive and integrated in the Triangle. We need volunteers to develop friendships with the adults with disabilities who often don't have friends outside of their caretakers. We offer monthly activities such as crafts, game show events, trivia, music and picnics. These events are the 3rd Saturday of every month usually from 2-4pm.
